The One That Started It All

The video above is the one that got me started on my knitting adventure.  I had subscribed to Loepsie's channel on YouTube recently because of her awesome hair tutorials.  Soon after subscribing, she posted this little tutorial for one of her hobbies.  After I watched the tutorial, I decided that I could learn to do it, too. ;D

Soon I found myself in the local Hobby Lobby picking out my very first pair of knitting needles.  I had some yarn lying around the house, so I used it to create my first swatch.  I spent a lot of time practicing the knit stitch and ripping out my knitting.  Once I had gotten more comfortable holding the needles and the yarn all at once, I began trying to purl.  It took a little while to become accustomed to holding everything comfortably, but eventually I worked it out.

All of this happened in December of last year.  Since then, I have completed about fifteen projects! I've come so far and now I can share my adventure here.  I'll be back soon to discuss some of my first projects.
